Do you think, as I used to, that fabric beads are those things where you just roll up a pointy piece of fabric, spray some stuff on it and that's that? Well, no. I was so wrong. The beads in Kristal Wick's new book are so so much more than that. They are so gorgeous I want to make them all. She makes it all sound easy for even the novice like me. I am new to the beading and the jewelry making, and I love all of it. I didn't think I would want to get into making my own beads -- after all, I've spent a small(?) fortune buying beads. But now, I have to do this. The book has called my name. And boxes of fabric left over from when quilting was my passion means there will be little outlay of cash (yeah, right) to get me started! Thanks to Kristal I have a whole new obsession.
